BMW ALPINA B3 GT3 Coupé E92
The BMW ALPINA B3 GT3 combines exceptional characteristics and technical features of the
ALPINA B6 GT3 race car with classic design elements of iconic
ALPINA automobiles of the past – to the delight of
ALPINA customers and enthusiasts worldwide. The exceptionally smooth
twin turbocharged 3.0liter in line six-cylinder engine from the BMW ALPINA B3 S Bi-Turbo -
with its massive torque and effortless performance - is also employed in the B3 GT3.
By amending the exhaust system and replacing the rear silencer the back pressure has been further reduced,
increasing output in the B3 GT3 by 8hp. The direct petrol injected engine now delivers a
total power output of 408hp at 6000rpm and 540Nm of torque at 4500rpm.

BMW ALPINA B6 Coupé F13
For ALPINA, a technology driven company, standstill is a foreign word. Since the introduction of the
B7 Bi-Turbo,
the engineers from Buchloe, Germany, have been continuously working on
the
details of the turbo charging and intercooler system.
Consequently, the all-aluminium V8 power plant now produces 540hp
(397kW)
at a moderate 5500rpm, with a maximum torque of 700Nm
from 3000rpm. Two turbo-chargers configured in parallel, each feeding
one of the two cylinder banks, with specially developed
large diameter exhaust-turbines allow this engine configuration to
provide both exceptional power output and an abundance
of torque over an especially broad rpm range while maintaining excellent
throttle response at low rpm.

BMW AC Schnitzer ACS6 Coupé F13
F13 is the plain model designation of the third generation BMW 6-series Coupé
which was officially presented to the public in October.
The Aachen-based tuning specialists approached the project
with fingertip sensitivity and technical know-how to
make the new "star in the Coupé heaven"
into a true AC Schnitzer. Engine tuning and performance upgrades have a long tradition at
AC Schnitzer.
To be
on the safe side however, we prefer not to extract the
maximum possible power but instead ensure greater robustness,
which means a longer life of the engine. Many of
our performance upgrades are therefore designed for an increase
in torque rather than an increase in horsepower.
Because torque is what you feel when for example you're
"pressed back in the seat" on pulling away.

BMW ALPINA B6 Convertible F12
ALPINA gives the new B6 Bi-Turbo a unique, powerful
appearance which elegantly underlines the sporty character of this beautiful convertible.
The exterior components that influence the aerodynamic properties of the B6 Bi-Turbo
are not just there
for aesthetic reasons – their design is subject
primarily to functional premises and plays a considerable role in
achieving
both the top speed and in reducing fuel consumption.
Take for example the front spoiler with the integrated carbon fibre
front
splitter. It causes more air to flow over and around the
vehicle, simultaneously reducing the air masses which flow underneath
by more than 10%. The front spoiler, in conjunction with
the rear spoiler, ensures that the
B6 Bi-Turbo is very well ‘tethered’ overall. Uplift on the front axle is reduced by
14% and tends towards a value of zero on the rear axle from a speed of 150 km/h onwards.

G-POWER BMW M3 Tornado RS E92
Meet the most powerful BMW M3 in the world: G-POWER M3 TORNADO RS
with 720hp Supercharged V8. As demonstrated in G-POWER’s
Supercharger Systems for the legendary BMW V10,
the full potential of high-revving BMW engines and
G-POWER superchargers can only be achieved through significant
modification of the base engine. Fortunately, the V8
in the current BMW M3 (E9x) is essentially a „shortened“
version of the BMW V10 engine. Thus G-POWER is able to leverage
the proven forged pistons from that engine and developed
through G-POWER’s technology partner MAHLE. These pistons are produced exclusively for
G-POWER using a strengthening technology developed by MAHLE‘s Formula 1 division.

World premiere: 2012 BMW 3 Series Sedan F30
With the announcement of the sixth generation BMW 3 Series Sedan F30,
the benchmark
by which all sport sedans are measured just got raised.
The pioneering history of the 3 Series serves as inspiration for
the new sports sedan, whose powerful styling represents a
fresh interpretation and conscientious development of traditional
BMW design cues. It will not only set new standards for
performance and handling but also for luxury, technology and efficiency
as well. The new BMW face, with elongated headlights
reaching along as far as the BMW kidney grille, emphasizes the new
BMW 3 Series' sense of width and strengthens its athletic overall profile.
The BMW 3 Series F30 range is now also available in a trio of trim and equipment
variants – the Sport Line, Luxury Line and Modern Line.

World premiere: BMW 5 Series ActiveHybrid
BMW announced the introduction of its newest hybrid, the BMW ActiveHybrid 5.
Based on the BMW 535i Sedan, the ActiveHybrid 5
brings together BMW's 3.0-liter TwinPower Turbo inline
six-cylinder engine, an electric drive system and an eight-speed
automatic transmission for the first time. The latest
generation of BMW ActiveHybrid technology also adds precisely
controlled energy management to the mix. All of which
gives the BMW ActiveHybrid 5
an exceptional balance of performance and fuel economy
for a benchmark performance/luxury sedan. Its drive system generates
combined output of 335 hp (DIN), allows the car to be
driven on electric power alone up to 37 mph (60 km/h), and accelerates
the BMW ActiveHybrid 5 from 0 to 60 mph in 5.7 seconds (preliminary).

World premiere: BMW i8 Concept
The BMW i8 Concept
and the fascinating approach that underpins it embody the vision
of a sustainable contemporary sports car brought to
life. Its innovative plug-in hybrid concept combines the modified
electric
drive system from the BMW i3 Concept
– fitted over its front axle – with a high-performance
three-cylinder combustion engine producing 164 kW (220
hp)/300 Nm (221 lb-ft) at the rear. The electric motor in the
BMW i8 Concept
is a full-capability unit which can also power the car on its own,
if required. However, working in tandem allows the two
drive systems to display their respective talents to the full,
delivering
the performance of a sports car but the fuel consumption
of a small car. The emotional design of the
BMW i8 Concept ensures its qualities are clear for all to see.
